This edition of Fruit Attraction is special for Altinco, as it marks the company’s 30th anniversary– three decades dedicated to developing environmentally friendly agricultural solutions that meet the growing demands for sustainability, health, and adaptation to global challenges. To celebrate this milestone, Altinco will also introduce its new brand identity, which reflects its ongoing commitment to research and the creation of residue-free products that support a cleaner approach to agriculture.

Altinco Grinward® at Fruit Attraction

On October 9, from 4:30 P.M. to 5:15 P.M., Altinco will host a presentation at the Fruit Next 5 space in Hall 5, where attendees can learn more about the features and benefits of Altinco Grinward®, the company’s new eco-friendly insecticide. This product is specially designed to combat pests like aphids, psyllids, and whiteflies. Its unique formulation, which includes 20% paraffin oil, acts by contact, effectively targeting multiple stages of the insect lifecycle without leading to resistance, ensuring long-lasting and sustainable crop protection. Additionally, Altinco Grinward® enhances foliar coverage, removes honeydew, and improves the effectiveness of other agricultural treatments, making it a valuable tool for farmers throughout the year.

Altinco Grinward® is a formulation based on Altinco Exact Nature®, developed to meet the increasing need for environmentally responsible agriculture, without compromising pest control efficiency. This new solution reinforces Altinco’s dedication to creating innovative products that protect both crops and the ecosystem, in line with the sector’s sustainability goals.

Latest Updates:

Biostimulants for fruit set: keys to improving crop productivity

Environmental conditions can compromise the success of fruit set, one of the most critical stages in the cycle of fruit and vegetable crops. During this process, the fertilized flower begins its transformation into fruit, defining the yield of the harvest. Factors such as extreme temperatures or water stress can reduce both the quantity and quality of production. Biostimulants are the key to optimizing this process, helping plants overcome these challenges and ensuring a more stable and profitable harvest.

Soil Quality: Key to sustainable agricultural production

Soil is much more than a support system for crops: it is a living ecosystem that determines the health and productivity of plants. However, soil degradation is one of the greatest challenges facing modern agriculture. Preserving and improving soil quality is essential to ensure the sustainability of the agricultural sector and global food security.
